About

Conor is a freelance journalist currently living in New York City. He was based as a freelancer for two years in Tunisia. He published articles in Middle East Eye, Al Monitor, Huffington Post, New Arab, Your Middle East, Tunisia Live, Good Men Project, Non Doc, On Being, and International Business Times. He also appeared on radio and television to talk about Tunisian politics. During his time in Tunisia, he also worked in the education field at the American Corner cultural center and the Mediterranean School of Business. In addition to his journalism experience, Conor delivered a TEDx talk in Spring 2014 on Democratic Peace Theory. He graduated from Connecticut College as a member of the Political Science Honors Society with a double major in International Relations and Arabic Language & Literature. He is currently pursuing his dual-degree MA at Columbia SIPA and Columbia’s School of Journalism and will finish in May 2018.
